My name is Renata Chrobak-Pyrek and I'm the Branch Manager of Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp at Branch 6340 located in Palos Heights, IL. I have been in the mortgage industry and a branch manager since the age of 23! As I am certain we all know this industry is not easy- I was growing my team by myself and had no partners, or was not a franchisee at that time. Growing up, I always knew I wanted to own my own business, but I didn't know exactly what I wanted to do. So, I was stumbling through and figuring it out as I went! How I got to start my own branch was a story in itself. After graduating college with a degree in accounting that I knew wasn't an interest of mine but thought it would be lucrative, I couldn't bring myself to any accounting position and started at a mortgage company at age 22 as a loan originator. After 9 months of being in that job I was quickly fired for having too many ideas of owning my own branch and growing a team of my own! This truly has been a life-long dream in the making. Being in my 40s now, I have an incredible multi-cultural team of Loan Officers in my office and my team is so efficient with loving on my Realtor partners and our clients that I have time to focus on things I really love and believe in - Growing and coaching my loan officers to become the best version of themselves!
One of my greatest accomplishments is helping my team help clients achieve the American dream of homeownership for the past 23 years. Coming from Poland when I was 15, speaking no English, to owning my own business making 6-7 figures per year- the level of gratitude I feel is indescribable. I'm pursuing my dreams while becoming a version of myself that I am proud of and I want to help as many people as possible to do the same!
